Only dig i have (Which isn't a big one trust me) is that the theme when Bruce Lee sleeps with the prostitute is missing sadly, i think the track tromboneman is fallen in love is it but it's not the version on the movie.
Anyhow, this soundtrack is music to my ears! Excellent blog by the way!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20115328.post-29201953284186343022011-05-02T00:49:39.699-04:002011-05-02T00:49:39.699-04:00Thanks for the insight into how Peter Thomas becam...Thanks for the insight into how Peter Thomas became involved with "The Big Boss".

The Wikipedia article on the soundtrack also helped to explain things as well:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Boss#Alternate_music_scores

Interesting tidbit about Joseph Koo and the usage of the score for "The Hills Have Eyes".

I've read that HK films did a lot of "borrowing" from other soundtracks and production music libraries while only crediting the in-house composer. It's quite a conundrum!

Anyway, thanks for the info and also for all work you've done documenting other composers like Lalo Schifrin. Much appreciated!Rayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03214944050058529885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20115328.post-9809591591325448062010-12-20T01:06:50.749-05:002010-12-20T01:06:50.749-05:00Excellent blog.
