Also, the "Joe Farrell Quartet" features Chick Corea on all cuts except two (John McLaughlin's "Follow Your Heart" and the Farrell-Holland duet "Alter Ego"). In fact, two of the songs here are by Corea - the duet "Song of the Wind" and "Motion."Douglas Paynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16566227636904708488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20115328.post-51841842851977672512011-01-10T15:07:17.719-05:002011-01-10T15:07:17.719-05:00I am very much looking forward to these issues, as...I am very much looking forward to these issues, as Farrell has been woefully neglected by every company that's been reissuing CTI albums since the debut of the compact disc! PENNY ARCADE is a funky favorite. I thought I had OUTBACK at one time, don't know what happened to it, but looking forward to getting it back!

You mention Chick Corea being on the Joe Farrell Quartet record; if my memory serves me correct, there's no piano on that record. But the mind reels at the possibilities had Corea been present for those sessions!Al Rearickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17966903820694588558noreply@blogger.com
